Rock Climber's Friend
Years ago, as a University of Wyoming student, I spent weekends climbing over the rocks of Vedauwoo in Medicine Bow National Forest. It was a challenge to keep my shoes from slipping off the tiny bits of rock used as “toe holds,” – fragments not much larger than the slippery twists of silk bouclé in this 5.5” x 61” weaving.
