Prairie Homestead
The eastern plains of Wyoming are dotted with the remnants of ranch and farm homesteads which have now become part of larger ranch operations. Each bears the same poignant feeling of a ghost town, in miniature. In early summer the short grass prairie is still green from the winter moisture stored in the soil; by August it will become golden brown and dry.
