About Us

Mike and Jeny Stoesz, as husband and wife, believed Wyoming is truly God's country. They wanted to create something that would allow Wyoming's beauty to leave with visitors and at the same time remain in the state with its residents. Their solution was to cooperate on aspects of their individual businesses, essentially creating an avenue of products where both could participate: Jeny Originals Wyoming Collection.

Mike spent most of his life as an award-winning photojournalist, and more recently as owner of Laramie Digital/Photo Center. He also was active in historic preservation and community planning in Albany County, settling in Laramie after a stint in the U.S. Navy. He began photographing Wyoming 43 years ago and drew on over 40,000 images for the Wyoming Collection photos, which will be offered through his wife's business, Jeny Originals Yarns and Handwovens. Mike died in 2011 and is greatly missed by his family and friends.

Jeny is active as an artist, writer, arts educator and businesswoman.

Greetings!

    Buy direct with the
shopping cart. Shipping to US, Canada, Australia and much of Europe.

We will be at the Estes Park Wool Market, June 7-8-9 in the vendor barn at the fairgrounds in Estes Park, Colorado.  I will be sharing a booth with Sharon Vair in the same location as last year.
Please stop and shop our beautiful yarns.  All of the Wyoming Collection yarns will be there, along with western specialty yarns  - including bisondown, yak, and llama.

The store will be closed on the following days this summer because we will not be in town: May 26, 30, 31; June 1, 6-9, 24-30.  When we are in town, call Jeny's home number, 745-3816, if you need something after hours or Sundays.  When we are not in town, call Penny at 745-9364 - she has the keys and is authorized to sell - checks or cash only.
Jeny has ordered a large shipment of Fleece Artist yarns.  There are many blends in discontinued colors.  Check in the store to see them.
Many of you have started phoning orders.  Good!  Jeny likes to talk to you and walk around the store looking for the yarn you want.  Jeny is at the store, 9:30-5:30 MST (unless out to lunch).  We also broker equipment.

We now sell shawl pins and accessories; check out "Accessories & More".
Take care. Keep the creativity flowing.
